The Premack Principle

The Premack Principle, often called "Grandma's Rule," is a fantastic way to motivate your dog by using what he loves most! It works by letting him do something he enjoys after he does something you ask for. For example, if he absolutely loves playing fetch but isn’t too keen on sitting, you can ask him to sit first, then reward him with his favorite game of fetch. This way, he learns that listening to you gets him exactly what he wants—and it's a win-win for both of you!
