Puppy Start RIght (For Puppie 8-20 weeks)

Give your puppy the best foundation with Puppy Basics, a 7-week course designed to build confidence, good manners, and essential life skills. Based on the AKC Puppy Start Right curriculum, this class focuses on positive reinforcement and early socialization to set your puppy up for success.

What We’ll Learn:

  • Socialization Done Right: Safely introducing your puppy to new people, places, and experiences.

  • Name Recognition & Focus: Teaching your puppy to respond to their name and pay attention to you.

  • House Training & Crate Comfort: Establishing good potty habits and making the crate a safe space

  • Basic Manners & Cues: Sit, down, come when called, and polite leash walking.

  • Handling & Grooming: Helping your puppy feel comfortable with vet visits and grooming.

  • Preventing Common Problems: Addressing jumping, nipping, chewing, and more.

  • Confidence & Problem-Solving: Engaging activities that encourage curiosity and resilience

Vaccination Requirements:

  • To ensure a safe learning environment, puppies must be between 8 and 16 weeks old at the start of class and have received:

  • At least one round of age-appropriate vaccinations (DHPP).

  • A veterinarian’s clearance for group socialization.

Proof of vaccination must be provided before the first class.

Canine Foundations 101: Essential Training for a Well-Mannered Dog (Dogs 6months and over)

Canine Foundations 101 is designed for newly adopted dogs or those needing a behavior refresher. Over 6 weeks, you'll build essential skills and confidence with your dog, all through positive reinforcement methods.

What We’ll Learn:

  • Focus & Engagement: Teaching your dog to pay attention and respond reliably.

  • Loose Leash Walking: Enjoying walks without pulling.

  • Recall (Coming When Called): Building a reliable response in different environments.

  • Basic Manners & Cues: Sit, down, stay, and polite greetings.

  • Impulse Control: Helping your dog make good choices, such as waiting calmly and not jumping.

  • Confidence & Problem-Solving: Fun exercises to build resilience and adaptability.

  • Handling & Cooperative Care: Making vet visits and grooming stress-free.

Vaccination Requirements:

Monthly Workshops

Our Monthly Workshops are dynamic, drop-in classes that change every week, offering a unique opportunity to learn a new skill or reinforce existing ones. These flexible sessions are designed for dogs and owners of all levels, so you can drop in anytime and focus on a specific behavior or training technique. Each month, the topics and skills covered will vary, ensuring that you and your dog always have something new to work on. Whether you're looking to fine-tune your dog’s skills or introduce a new challenge, these workshops are a fun, engaging way to build your dog's confidence and strengthen your bond.

Vaccination Requirements:
To ensure the safety of all dogs in the workshop, participants must:

  • Be fully vaccinated (DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella).

  • Be in good health and free from contagious illnesses.

  • Provide proof of vaccinations before attending any workshop.
